- It gets tiresome reading the assertion by many Christians that somehow, atheism is an heroic act of faith. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is just the absence of belief in gods. Pretty much for the same reason I have the absence of belief in ESP, leprechauns or trolls. There’s no evidence for such things.
